The neighborhood features a rich dining scene with over 300 restaurants and cafes throughout the area. Educational institutions include both public and private primary and secondary schools accessible within the neighborhood. Numerous parks, such as Oz Park, provide ample outdoor spaces for recreation. Housing options range from large apartments to single detached homes, offering a diverse selection of unit sizes to accommodate varied preferences.

Lincoln Park is a "jack-of-all-trades" when it comes to the feel of this neighborhood. There are a very large number of things to do in this part of the city to explore. There is a great variety of entertainment venues, there are masses of people around most of the time, and with its over 50 nightlife venues, there are options for nighttime activities. Lincoln Avenue in particular offers a wide variety of places to go out at night. The noise levels in Lincoln Park are quite low, as noise from streets and other parts of the city is rarely an issue, however noise can be problematic closer to one of the railway lines. It is very easy to get to public green spaces from numerous locations in the neighborhood, since there are around 10 of them close by for residents to discover and a lot of houses for sale have a park very close by.
